Technique Classes For Adults
Our Adult Tech classes, open to all abilities including beginners,
are designed to learn fundamental boxing techniques whilst getting fit!
Afewee offers Technique classes for those who wish to learn the art of boxing and stay fit. Even for those who do not want to go on to compete, boxing training provides a superb fitness and discipline regime. These sessions are a pathway into our competitive club and are supervised by our head coach.
Boxing training has proven to be effective in helping people lose weight and tone up. It has been linked to many other fantastic physiological benefits too, such as releasing stress and anxiety and increasing self-esteem and confidence. Boxing training offers a total body workout and will help you achieve your fitness goals fast.
What to expect:
Skipping, shadow boxing, technical work, circuit training, punchbags, pad work, circuit/core etc. Complete beginners are separated to ensure they feel comfortable in developing the core fundamentals before progressing onto other areas.
What to bring;
- Boxing gloves (Provided, ideal to have your own)
- Hand wraps (Sold for £6)
- Clothing (Shorts/jogging bottoms, t-shirt, comfortable trainers)
- Sparring equipment (For those wishing to spar in the ring)
