Friday 27th May 2016 Afewee boxers were invited to display their skills at a World Series of Boxing (WSB) event at York Hall, Bethnal Green. The 3-stage awards programme, tailored for under 11s and Juniors, is designed to provide structure, incentive and progression for all young people who regularly attend the club. Afewee women’s boxing team traveled to Portsmouth on Sunday 8 November to attend an all female training squad with England coach Q Shillingford. Senior boxer Urszula Kowalczyk was supported by head coach Bobby Miltiadous and women’s boxing coach Sara Bowden.
